Pieta is one of Michelangelo’s first major works, which he finished carving from a solid block of Carrara marble in 1500 when he was 23 years old. Mary holding her dead son, she is still with her son, holding him, caring for him. And her face is calm, pure and introspective. Michelangelo create a remarkable work.

About Dragica Micki Fortuna
"Art and music are to my soul, as food and water are to my body." Born in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She attended the University of Ljubljana, postgraduate studies from chemical science and graduated from economics. After retirement, attended lectures at the Academy of fine arts and design in Ljubljana, and attended the advanced courses in drawing and painting. In the paintings reflects an optimist by nature and leon by horoscope. She practices drawing by pastel, painting by acryl and mixed technique, she occupy oneself with photography and encaustic paintings. She is currently devoted to her passion for digital art.
