Description
No more than a few steps from Ljubljana's last suburban streets spreads Ljubljansko Barje (Ljubljana Moors). This almost 16,000 hectares large marshy plain is marked by an interminable mosaic of grasslands, litter woodlands, fields, ditches and hedges. As an area of exceptional natural and cultural heritage, Ljubljansko barje began to be recognized only in the last few decades, many still consider this area the main reason for the famous Ljubljana fog. In this unfortunate time of the spread of the Corona swamp virus, it offers a daily relaxing walk. At this time of year, fog stays on the moor throughout the all day, and low temperatures create rimes on the branches. What a challenge to paint !
