Artist's Description
Pokljuka is a mountainous plateau located in the Triglav National Park with a length of 20 km and almost the same width, which is covered with woods. It has an altitude of 1,300m. In wintertime, Pokljuka is normally covered with a thick sheet of snow. Despite this, the plateau is readily accessible both from Bohinj and from Bled. Ski lifts operating near the Sport hotel , under Vi�evnik and in Zatrnik contribute to extensive cross coutry skiing trails leading amid spruce woods.
About Dragica Micki Fortuna
"Art and music are to my soul, as food and water are to my body." Born in Ljubljana, Slovenia. She attended the University of Ljubljana, postgraduate studies from chemical science and graduated from economics. After retirement, attended lectures at the Academy of fine arts and design in Ljubljana, and attended the advanced courses in drawing and painting. In the paintings reflects an optimist by nature and leon by horoscope. She practices drawing by pastel, painting by acryl and mixed technique, she occupy oneself with photography and encaustic paintings. She is currently devoted to her passion for digital art.
