Description
Study of Black woman (detail) - replica of the iconic images in Slovene culture painting. Author, Anton Azbe ( 1862 -1905) was a Slovene realist painter and teacher of painting. At the age of 30 Azbe founded his own private art school in Munich(Germany) that attracted aspiring artists from all corners of Europe, with large numbers from Slovenia and from Russia- Wassily Kandinsky among them.
